Annex

Obligation to Register Guests: In accordance with the Sojourn Tax Act and the Ordinance on the Method of Keeping Guest Records and the Content and Form of the Guest Registration Form, we are legally required to collect specific personal data for every guest staying at our facility.

 

Data Collected for eVisitor: Upon arrival, we will collect the following information for mandatory registration in the eVisitor system (managed by the Croatian National Tourist Board):

  • Full name, Place and Date of birth, and Sex.
  • Citizenship and Residence (Country, City, and Address).
  • Type and Number of Identity Document (Passport or National ID card).

 

Purpose and Retention: This data is collected solely for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations to the Republic of Croatia for the monitoring of tourist traffic and the calculation of sojourn tax. This data is stored in the official eVisitor system for 10 years as mandated by law.

Notice of Mandatory Data Processing (eVisitor System)

As a registered accommodation provider in the Republic of Croatia, we are legally bound by the Sojourn Tax Act to register all guests upon arrival. This processing is based on Legal Obligation (Art. 6.1.c of GDPR). You are required to provide a valid identity document (ID or Passport) so that we may enter your details into the eVisitor system. Failure to provide this data will result in our inability to provide accommodation services. This data is shared with the Croatian National Tourist Board and is retained for a period of 10 years for tax and statistical auditing.
